Sorry But???

looks a little fake to me, but I´m not an expert

First off, I mean no offense to you or your project.
I quoted on your first dark thread that I liked him a lot. I think your project has much merit. I still do like the black, but you can see by looking at the regular SH 1 photo and SH 2 photo they appear different (enhanced or
drastic lighting change) I laid your photos side by side.
IMHO enhanced, and it has to look more like Dark 1 photo showing through more of the SH trait .......
Again no offense intended, but I'd really like to see a natural light photo.
Take care..HJ....
Very nice gecko. Love the thought of jet black.

If this gecko is as you claim it is, it's a wonderful creation! If it's not, and the photo is 'altered', then you will be kicked off this forum faster than you can say the word 'fraud'....

The photo was not photoshopped for certain... However, it does appear to have been "tinkered" with in my opinion... I am sure some of the geckoforums photo experts can back that up... Looks like it was darkend... If you look at the "normal" SHTCT, it seems way contrasty and the darker colors seem to "pop" more... Honestly, I do think it is a darker leo, but no darker than some of the ones I hatched...

My vote is that it is incubation induced and NOT genetic from my own personal experience... It seems like ALL the supposed hyper melanistic leo photos are messed with to appear darker than they really are... When there is a true melanistic leo produced, you will know it because it will be BLACK, not BROWN!!!

I have to be honest, upon closer examination it looks like the contrast could've been tweaked.

But I don't think it's fair to refute Aaron just yet.

Perhaps he should take a picture of this gecko next to a common house-hold item, such as a bag of cheetos or something else to that tune for a color reference?

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE.

I would just like to say thanks for all the great input everyone has given me. Im excited about working on this project wether or not it proves to be genetic or not will only be a bonus.
