Bell? Rainwater?

I had this lovely girl sold to me as a bell albino by a local reptile breeder. The more I learn about the strains of albino the less sure I am that she is actually a bell.

and a body shot

The color veining in her eyes is what got me started on thinking she was a rainwater. I am not sure if I'll ever breed her so it's not life or death. I'd just like to know for my own satisfaction.

This isn't an easy call for me to make, but I'm really leaning toward Las Vegas Albino (a.k.a. Rainwater).

If I were you, I'd test-breed. It's the only way to find out for sure.

Thats for sure a bell 100% sure. Rain waters are much yellower and have different eyes, and usually breeders know what albino they are selling, since it takes two of that strain to make an albino, the only way to screw it up is mislabeling, or mixing the eggs up, but that looks like every bell I have and have ever had.

I have all three albino strains. And at first, based on the banding and coloration, I saw indications that made me think Las Vegas Albino. Having just now compared the eyes to each albino strain, I have no doubt that your leo is indeed a Bell. :main_yes:

Looks can somtimes be deciving, depends on how much the person you got her from knows about the genetic background really...

The person I got her from...well, I have doubts he knows a lot about the animals he sells. However, she is absolutely adorable. and very sweet. So i guess I will have to test breed her to make sure.

:main_thumbsup: That will leave you with absolutely no doubt. I agree with the majority, so I'd suggest test breeding to a Bell first off.
