I am sure you all have heard of Ron Tremper's blue leopard gecko project. He has had it for years on his future projects, which can be seen here: http://leopardgecko.com/projects.html

I am pleased to announce this Monday (April 13th) that Gecko Time will be publishing an in depth breeder interview with Ron Tremper. We will also be showcasing an AMAZING photo of this new morph. Be sure to subscribe to email updates to be first allerted when the post is live. That can be done easily here: http://feedburner.google.com/fb/a/mailverify?uri=GeckoTime&loc=en_US

I will be sure to post here when the post is live!

So what do you all think of this blue project? Excited yet??

On Tremper's site it says that what RT believed to be a color mutation ended up being a blue hemangioma. Hopefully there will be some decent pictures, and although I can't say I'm excited about a morph yet, I am excited to find out more from your interview!

How can you not be excited about a new morph from the Tremper line of animals??? Seriously, the man has put out so many awesome morphs that each and every one of us either works with or will be working with...

Matt, I for one can not wait to see what Ron has to say and what new project he is working on... No matter what it is, it is something none of us have yet and will most likely want to get in on...

Actually on an episode of Reptile Radio RT stated that he came across something other then the blue spot on the tail. I'll find the read interesting but as always i will be a skeptic until the data on the genetics is given out.

I'll be excited when I see it and it's really blue, but I seem to be let down a lot when I get excited from a description.

Well, I didn't mean to stir bad energy up at all. All I can say is that the photo was really surprising to me.

I hope that you all enjoy the post on Monday and that the photo makes a few people happy :).

Well when he was on Reptile Radio he said the gecko had a turquoise blue belly. I’ll believe it when I see it. And I truly hope that I’m surprised by the picture as well. I’d love to have a blueberry gecko in my collection one day. :main_laugh:

Ah, I didn't hear he said anything about it yet. I think this photo will work well to confirm that.

Its crazy how people can be excited about other morphs that have colors that most leopard geckos have but not excited about hearing a blue gecko might be coming around that could be nothing like what we have seen. I've seen the same people that arn't excited get excited over a $3,000 brown gecko.

I'm excited to hear and see about all the morphs that are genetically differant from anything out there today and a blue one would be, to me anyways, the most unique leo around! As long as "new morphs" are healthy and genetically sound then i'll always be excited to see it.

If there really is a blue leopard gecko out there I can't wait for it. This is what I've dreamed of since it was first announced!

Matthew was able to show me a sneak peek photograph of the 'blue' Leopard Gecko.
And I don't know how to describe it, except for that it *blue* me away. :p
I can't wait to read this post Monday!
