Even with our poor season we have a little progress on the "melanistic" Redstripes which originally appeared in the quest for more hypo Redstripes. They darken as they age and are easy to spot because of the black spotting under the jaw where the regular Redstripes have none. Maybe one day they'll meet up with those insane Black Pearls.

Very cool--so the two on the left will darken up like the ones on the right?

I like the one in the upper right--the bigger bold black spots and the extra dark tail are neat-o. :main_cool3:

interesting project, Dan, keep us posted...

i just saw paul's note, "...and TARZAN, please...." LOL

yeah TARZAN is an official 'WMD'.....

everybody should have a TARZAN, but not everybody DOES..

my 'tarzan' here doesn't have the body marking, but stature counts for something when it's over 100g...
