Or am I the only freak out there. LOL

Every time I buy a reptile, I keep the boxes and reuse them. I just hate to toss them out, the boxes are still in great shape…

Do I look cheap or does anyone else do this to?:main_robin:

Now I feel bad. I always use a new box. I'd feel bad sending someone a gecko in a used one. I'll have to think about this the next time I receive a gecko.

I reuse them for several reasons people have pointed out. If the box is in great shape, might as well, saves me money and in the long run I dont have to add a few bucks onto the rice of the animal to pay for the supplies.

Also from a green point of view, that styrofoam isnt going to break down, why toss it? If the box is beat up I will recycle it but I save the styrofoam, thankfully only had to do that a few times as most of the boxes get are in good shape.

I love my boxes!

Depending on what was shipped and how the box held up, I'll reuse. I use old boxes to bring home animals from the local reptile show, espcially when the weather is too hot or too cold.

This of course after the animal(s) that were shipped in it pass quarentine. ;)

I reuse all reptile shipping boxes that are in decent shape. which usually is most of them.
