Finally some good eggs!

After two months of laying infertile clutches my Azureus pair figured it out!

Most dart frogs lay small clutches because the tadpoles receive some level of care from the parents.

They're starting to really look like tadpoles now.

I'll have to do the work, these guys don't provide any parental care past transporting the tads to a water source.

Cool! So at what age do you start feeding them and what do you feed them? Microworms? Daphnia? hrmmm whats smaller than that...?

Thanks everyone! I have three tads in the water now. It would have been five but the female decided to stomp on the eggs shortly before they were due to hatch and killed two. :main_angry:

They can eat fish food, tadpole pellets, algae, live worms, just about anything.

You don't really incubate them like a reptile egg, they develop at room temperature.
