AFter more than 2 months I finally got my first 2 leo eggs. I already have 4 good fattie eggs cooking, but the leos have gotten off to a really slow start. Ironically, the one that laid is the last one to have bred. This is my snow/fasciolatus female that was bred by my new Mack snow (thank you Thad of Ohio Gecko) as soon as he came out of his quarantine exactly 2 weeks ago. All the other geckos look as if they have multiple follicles in their bellies and the males have been in action for months. I hope this is the start of good things and I won't really mind if I don't hatch as many as I did last season.

My leo eggs went into my 2nd SIM on the bottom of my reptipro. There is a decent amount of condensation and my cheap hygrometer says humidity in there is 95% (and it only took THREE CUPS of water).

Aliza, I know the frustration! I'm glad at least one of your girls laid for you. One of mine was bred in January, another early February, and the other two in late February. No one's showing signs of laying but the girls who bred earlier are so round they look like they're going to pop and everyone's showing multiple follicles. I don't know why they're so slow this season..

I'm off to a super slow start this season, too. Good luck with those eggs! I hope your others start to lay soon, too.
