1) The African Fat Tail Females high bid is now $350

Looks like we are inching closer to our goal of raising $1,000 for Juan and Morgan!

AS ANNOUNCED ON THE SPECIAL EDITION OF LATE NIGHT LEOS LAST FRIDAY - The winners of the auction will be announced tonight on air before the show ends. Bidding officially stops at 8:45 p.m. PST tonight, just 15 minutes before the end of the radio show!

Please remember that if you cannot bid on a gecko, we have set up a fund where you can give directly to Juan and Morgan, visit the home page of www.latenightleos.com and select your donation amount via the paypal link on the front of the website. 100% of donations will be given directly to Morgan Jacobson via Paypal e-check.

p.s. with over 1,200 views on this thread, I'm sure we can raise the $1,000 we need to help these guys out!

UPDATE: We are still collection funds from the winners of the auctions. The weather has been pretty bad where Pat lives lately, so we have been waiting until shipping conditions are ideal for those receiving geckos. We plan to send the Paypal check directly to Morgan Jacobson once all funds have been received and the geckos have arrived safely to their new homes.

Also - Huge thanks to those who have sent paypal donations directly to the Morgan Jabobson Fund! We will include these funds in the check we send to Morgan.

If you would like to donate to help Morgan, please send your donations via Paypal to [email protected] with the following note 'Donation for the Morgan Jacobson Fund'. We have almost reached our $1,000 donation goal!

Thank you all again for your generosity, Morgan and her family are very grateful.

Everyone, I do appreciate the thoughts info and kindness.

It's things like the sort that give me threads of hope for humanity, rallying around people, some have never met, and opening your hearts to Morgan and I.

Unfortunately and fortunately

Morgan has passed away.:eek::(:(:(:(:(:(:eek:

She was 22 years of age.

We thank you alll soooooo much, everyone thats replied, everyone that has viewed the thread, everyone who has bid, everyone who has called and been there for me. I love you all. You folks are what make humanity special, it IS important to remember the positivity, and keep this community STRONG and thriving!

A SPECIAL DEEP DOWN FROM MY HEART THANKS to these people. I'll never feel complete, unless I thank these people in person. Britt and Nigel from LnL, Pat k, Paul A (I love you man), Marcia MOGL, Matt B, GreggM, jmlslayer,Thestack510, davidevans reptiles and leapinlizards. I'll never forget the bravery and kindness shown. Your words and thoughts felt like angel wings soothing my psyche and midframe. I needed my friends. And you all came through for me in multiple ways. I love you guys n gals!!!!!!!

My family has had our own battle with cancer. I have been in your shoes, or at least a similar pair. I am sorry for your loss, but thankful that Morgan is no longer suffering. Bless you all. Finally, I would like to mention how glad I am to be part of a community such as geckoforums that pulls together in the worst of times.

Hi Juane I am truly sorry to here about your loss and I know how hard it is as Last June I lost my 4 year old niece to drowning, nothing really seems to help when you loose someone close to you that you really loved, all you can do is pray to god to help you get through the pain and suffering and really no that they are with him looking down as the angels they were.
Sincerely,Daidra

Juan, I just saw this thread now, as I am not on gechoforums often now days. I cant tell you how sorry I am. If you need anything and I can help in anyway, don't hesitate. She is no longer suffering and though I wish it worked out differently, try to look at the bright side.

Juan, I came across this thread today. I have been off gecko forums for a few months due to my job and just came back a few weeks ago. I read all the threads pertaining to this and well I really don't know what to say. From deep down in my heart I am very, very sorry. I cannot imagine what you must have went through, but I do know that she is in a much better place and you will see her again. I strongly believe that God has a plan for everyone. If you ever need to talk feel free to contact me. Take care and God bless..
