Humid Hide, Which Side Does it Go On?

I know this is probably a stupid question but, which side does the humid hide go on? I hav e seen some breeders put it on the warm side and others on the cool side. SO Im confused, help any one?

i either put it on the cool side so it dosent dryout as fast or i put one on both sides.

I keep mine right in the middle, it seemed to dry out too quickly when I kept it on the warm side and I was afraid it wouldn't get humid enough on the cool side.

I have mine on the cool side. Something about warm, dark places just screams excess bacteria to me. My geckos shed just fine and spend most of their time in their humid hide, which I assume is because it's on the cool side and it's summer so they've been avoiding the hot side except at night.

I keep them in the middle and when gecko goes into shed i'll put it mostly on the warm side.

I keep mine between middle and warm side. The tubs are in back abd the tanks in the middle. I have also noticed some of my leopard geckos move it to wherever they want it.

I keep them on the warm side. I used to keep a moist hide on both ends of the tank, and my leos spent some time in both. So, it could be a matter of how often you want to spray down the bedding.

Next question how many of you use humid hides for the only hide in your tub?

I use 3 hides per leo per 20gal tank.
One on each end, and the humid one in the middle.

Well Im using a 16qt tub and there is only enough room for one hide and a food and water dish.

I am using one hide in a 15 qt tub as the humid hide. If they don't want to be in there then they just lay out in the open.

If you are low on floor space, you can stack em on top of each other.
Just make sure your leo cant knock one down!
