oh dear, well at lease its only pin worms. they are very common and easily treatable.
once hes been treated with the first dose make sure you thoroughly disinfect every inch of every thing in the cage as he can get easily re infected.

Thanks, that was going to be my next question actually, when would be the best time to disinfect his cage. I need more bleach lol.

I'm so relieved he is going to be ok. :D

It's good you got him to the vet! With feeding and medicine, I'm sure he'll make a great recovery. :)

You should probably go to the pet shop and see if they still have that other one that was sick (if it's still alive) and tell him it probably has pinworms too, which could easily infect their others.

I forgot to mention I called them already lol.
I just gave them the excuse to get all the geckos checked and treated. They take parasites very seriously in this petco lol

That's so good. Not all stores are pet Hell. Hopefully their sick one will do better now too. :)

Me too. I was surprised they'd go this far and I'm sure happy to did.

They gave me some oral meds. The baggy says Panacur Suspension.

It's a bag of 5 syringes and I'm not sure how to go about it to him. If I screw it up he won't get better. Any tips on how to make sure ends up in his mouth?

drip small drops on his nose. he'll lick them off.

or tap the top of his mouth until he opens it, shove the syringe in and cross your fingers lol.

I feel like he's going to hate me for this. Lol

Well all plans failed, I'll have to get new syringes. They put the meds in unused insulin shots and "took out" the needle. It's just cut, I can't get the liquid out.

Well, a little update. His belly is a lot less bloated! I think the meds are doing the trick. Here are some pictures. He is still small but he'll get fattened up soon enough!

He's so beautiful. I can't wait until he's fattened up. :D

He is really pretty, he was the only not normal morph they had. The rest were either regular or albinos.

Which I feel so bad for the albinos as they have those bright lights on them all the time, I'm sure they don't like the brightness. At least they have a log to hide them from the light.

That poor thing. :( Does the vet think he'll make a full recovery?

~Maggot

I don't know, I would imagine so since she gave me meds for him but recovery from this is going to be so hard.
I had him on that tape measure for a moment and the tape measure ribbon is wider than he is.
