kelli, why are you casting aspersions on the name of Ron Tremper?
making fun of his new morph?

this post makes me sad to be a member of this site.
i really thought we had more class.

Ummm... I guess you did not see what Ron posted on facebook... he admitted that the Galaxy is a Super Snow Eclipse.

So, Elapid SV, your comment to me :
i find this post a rude and distasteful attack on ron.
he has said there's no snow genes in his project, are you calling him a liar in public? it sure reads like it.
personal attacks like this verge on libel, as they could very well hurt his business which makes it an actionable offense.

is, well, ridiculous.

If my post makes you "sad" to be here on GF any longer because of this, then please don't come here again. The last thing I want is for this website to make someone sad.

i wasn't aware of his fb post.

think about that though... it says a LOT about his moral character. my hat is off to mr. tremper for 'coming clean'.

so, is a tangerine tornado just a tang?

Well, his other option would have been to lie, so yeah, I'm glad he came clean also. As far as Tangerine Tornados go, it's a completely different argument. Urban Gecko says his Tangerine Tornados are Tangerines. The Galaxy was being promoted as a brand new recessive morph that had no snow blood whatsoever in it's genes. See the difference?

Oh, and ElapidSVT... I was not "making fun" of Tremper. I was expressing the disappointment that I am sure some have that the GALAXY is "just a Super Snow Eclipse". That's all. Of course most everyone knew that already, but I am quite sure there are some (like you apparantly), that believed this was a brand new recessive morph. Instead of expressing your negative feelings towards me, how about expressing some of those feelings towards Mr. Tremper?

Just a random question I guess but I thought all super snows are eclipse im probably wrong

All Super Snows have solid black eyes, but they are not technically Eclipses since the Eclipse gene is different that the snow gene. When both genes are expressed at the same time you get a Super Snow Eclipse.

But they don't turn brown... Ron told me so in a phone call and e-mail back in 1999. It took HOW many years for the browning to be admitted, and even then he didn't straight call himself out as in this case. Instead he labeled them as chocolate albinos. Damn it I really need to let this all go, but it drives me absolutely insane that people worship the guy like this. Wish I could have been refunded another $925 plus shipping after I sold my '99 albino for $75 in 2002. I just really wish I could forgive and forget. Maybe the means to doing such is getting rid of all my leos. :-/

He hadn't even released anything yet.
Not true. The 'new morph' was released in Japan. He also deleted his Facebook post that claimed the Galaxy was "brand new recessive morph that has no snow blood whatsoever in it's genes, I guarantee it". While I am glad a public statement was made to remedy this inaccurate claim, I am disappointed with the public comment, "my bad" after the disclosure. I felt it was flippant and lacked contrition and sincerity.

Now I'm really confused??? I thought he had publicly apologized and stated that it was in fact related to the snow complex? Or was he saying the "my bad" as a sarcastic remark?
