Not just to be different, but the more stuff like this that comes out, the less excited I become about leos. There's just too many different morphs, and every one added makes it even more confusing, not that they aren't cool to look at. Several different mutations that are easily confused in one animal is not my idea of fun.

I feel the opposite way. I love all of the Slight variation in leopard geckos.
It makes for some fun when you cross them. Often crosses with two Similar traits give you totally different results. You never know what you are going to get and that is very exciting to me.

pretty cool. The morph combinations will be endless. It would be neat to see a breeders cup one day. Normalize to a extent what a ideal example morph X should look like. Kinda like dog and cat breeders do.

Only 1 pair that I know of has been released in a trade. They are priced pretty high in the couple thousand dollar range due to a new recessive eye mutation. I think it warrants the price tag if it were pure but they are all poss het Trempers which is at most worth 1.5k for a male at that point. Maybe 1k for a female.

I take it you're not a fan of the Corn or Ball market then? Considering there are 100's of different combinations and new ones are coming out every year.

Wow. Guess it will be awhile before we see bells and rainwater marble eyes. He might be working out the tremper before a general release I am guessing.

Not really. I enjoy different morphs within a species. The thing that is increasingly annoying to me about leos is that there are several all white leos, several albinos, several eye morphs...

When you have SEVERAL similar looking morphs within the one species, it just makes a mess. The more of this kind of stuff pops up, the more threads that start with "what is my leo" are gonna end with "you'll never know unless you know what the parents were"

Just my IMO, and what appeals to me may not appeal to you either. :main_thumbsup:

I agree pakinjak. There are certain white morphs with red eyes that look identical and the only way u know is by the lineage or what the parents are
