Hes got some left . There on Ebay ...lol

Current bid is $37 for 5000 ends in 5 days

Now which breeder is going to win........Its funny thinking all you guys trying to win the same thing LOL. I am glad i only feed my babies mealworsm which i breed myself. The rest only eat crickets :(. Well except for the one I bought from Harold. I dont know if this adds to the mealworms thing, but about half of my bettles died in less than a week. Hope for the best for all your hungry geckos.

I actually have a pretty succselful breeding colony right now. I have about 1000+ mealworms that are ready to be eaten from my own colony, plus 4 trays of newly hatched mealworms.

Apparently, there was some sort of catastrophe that cause eggs not to hatch, and it may last for the entire season. I'd hate to go back to feeding crickets!

I just saw a lot of suppliers are stating there is a nationwide shortage. Does anyone know why/how this happened?

WOW-I will have to touch base with my "bug guy" who lives about 10 miles from me

He raises crickets-mealworms and supers and since I don't have any babies and I feed my juvies and adults crix and supers-I rarely use mealwoms

I will ask him if he is having any problems hatching them out etc.when I place my next bug order

Depends how long it takes the major mealworm suppliers to get there stock back up . I would personally find someone local who breeds them and doesn't mass advertise or breed them yourself for the time being .

You could also switch to crickets(eww!) or roaches until its over .

Hi everyone, I think I might be able to shed some light on this situation.

I have talked to Jack Armstrong a few time in the past 2 weeks, and he has informed me that no one knows why this is happening. He has met with a few breeders and still, he has no idea. I have some other info that I know, but I do not want to say anything that isn't true. Also, a few people claim that the beetles are becoming Sterile. They aren't able to get any eggs or worms.

He has no idea when this will end, or why.

I will let everyone know what else I hear.
