My Dad- Please look!

Well, my Dad's been fighting cancer for about 5 years now. He had liver cancer 5 years ago that was successfully treated. Well, I found out around Thanksgiving of last year that his cancer came back, and it is much more aggressive this time. His tumor on his liver is 11 cm in diameter and he has multiple small tumors on his left lung. He's ok now and he's trying to be tough but I know it's hard for him to know that he'll be leaving us here. We found out today that the cancer he has can't be treated. It sounds to me like the doctors are giving up on him. :main_thumbsdown: I'm very upset and we're planning our wedding now and it kills me to think that my Dad might not be here to walk me down the isle, see his first grandchildren, or see me graduate from college. All I ask of you all is that you pray or send your positive energy to him every day. So I really need your help and I know you all will understand.

Did your dad consider getting a second, or even a third opinion? Maybe some other doctors could offer him some more hope in the situation.
