Photos: Gravid Female vs. Ovulating Female

Hi, I thought my diablo blanco was gravid but it's been 5 weeks now since she would have mated. Someone on another thread says it looks like she's just far into ovulation. Is this what it looks like and is it too late for her to breed now this season? Or is she gravid and just taking forever to lay? It started out looking like round, yellow eggs, but now they look very pink... What do y'all think?

@pilsboy, She looks to be ovulating but how much does this gecko weigh. She looks pretty thin to be a potential breeder IMO.

she does look thin on pictures..., but shes 55g, 1.5 year old and is healthy looking in real life... eating very well, still gonna take some opinions about it... just wanted to make sure since picture of ovulation and real life can be different

Oh, I was not meaning that she didn't look healthy, just that her build is a little thinner than (I personally) would like to breed her but f she is 55 grams and 1 1/2 years old she may just be a smaller gecko.

So I put my geckos together so they could live together to help her start ovulating, because I couldn't see if she was ovulating or not. To my surprise, they mated. She didn't fight it and they followed everything through. Should I expect some eggs?

Gravid? She wasnt happy about being held like that so she was squirmy and this was the best I could do lol

This is day 2 of noticing a pink spot in her abdomen. She was not receptive to the male at this point.

At this point, she finally accepted advances from my male and became receptive to mating.

Day 20, she seems to have developing eggs? (Not positive, first time breeder here...)

Day 33, still developing. Longer than average time noted, but don't seem ready to lay and not noticing any distress on her part, so not overly concerned.

Hmm, looking like those eggs above might be getting reabsorbed. She's starting another ovulation cycle (pink spot center back), and the eggs are shrinking a bit. She isn't interested in my male at the moment, so will just have to wait and see if she becomes receptive again. :/
