Robin....I havent weighed the hatchlings but they definetly appear to hatch a bit smaller....I put a few adults on the scale and they are all right around 50 grams....

Pretty crazy isn't it Mike. I bred a 75 gram afghan het raptor to a 101 gram raptor and the outcome was far smaller animals. I only kept one and it's under 60 grams as an adult.

read that again robin :main_laugh:.. get closer to the screen this time:p

Afghan het raptor AKA offspring from afghan x raptor which is needed to produce a homozgous raptor with afghan influence :D

My afghans have never gotten past 55 grams for too long and hang around 45-50 grams usually. I am not a over feeder ;)

I really like the Afghans and Fascio's... I'd love to work with them, but i have my hands full this year and really can't get any more gex... Afghans and Fascio's are what i plan on getting into next year tho when i thin out some stock and make room! :)

Just stumbled upon this post. Loving the afghanicus line, they look great Mike. Here is the male "Raptghanicus" we picked up from Mike at the daytona show.
