OK back in Late Feb i posted photos of the one leopard gecko i hatched out and she had Hints of blue on the tail. it was clear to see however some of the members on here didn't see it...some did...About a month or so later i noticed it was changing...a light pale yellow...No! i wasn't going to post this too, i just have a repeat of the same thing how "its my lighting, its not there...." stuff like that...so i waited...and waited...and waited...Now this tail is a DEEP yellow. she eats, acts, poos just fine. Wonderful leopard gecko. she was never dropped or Fell in some way. This has been getting deeper and deeper in color and you can still see SOME blue around the tail...but come on...Its yellow. am Open to anymore photos in anyway you wanna see them just ask!!!!! so what do you think?!

Photos back in Feb, when i posted she had blue in her tail

That's pretty wild! I can see the hints of blue, and there is no mistaking that yellow. I'm curious to see what her babies will look like.

very cool heather!
might this be similar to what chemeleon owners face with WC in which they collect amazing bright blue or green animals and it fades to a turquoise or yellow do to stress and the captive environment?

and I guess now you can certainly live up to your name, crazytail reptiles ;)

well i hatched her out. with my leopard geckos, she had a bother/sister but Sadly i dropped the egg 2 weeks before it was due and it didn't make it. but she did. i might re-breed the pair if nothing else.

You could also breed her back to the sire.

Doesn't look healthy [the tail] to me... Notice how plump her tail bands are in the older pics compared to the new ones?

That is something unique! Stress could of very well changed the blueish color to yellow or it could be the way the genetics worked if it is genetics.

She could of bred her already this year and that could be one reason why the tail is smaller. She also could of started to ovulate and loss weight because of it. Well all know what our females look like during breeding season and during the off season. Its just natural for them to loose a bit of weight while breeding.

She is only around 30 grams, she does eat but Until she hits 40 she will be sitting alone with no mate.

That's the first thing I thought as well.
How is this gecko doing? Eating well? Does the tail feel different around that particular area?

Here are photos i just took, i assure you this is a healthy gecko, eating normally, she is jumpy but that's from not being handled much (like many breeders geckos) Here is a Side shot and Under the tail shot and me holding her, the tail is fine, no Damage, has not fell or ever dropped her tail.
