Awwww, I wish I saw this before today! Hopefully next year. Do you guys post the gifts? That would be cool to see. I'm thinking about getting another gecko just so I can buy food in bulk and have enough animals to eat it all, which is probably silly, but it works in my head, haha.

Homemade gifts eh? What sort of homemade gifts to Gecko owners want? I am a bit artistic.

Hides made of styrofoam (then grouted, painted, and sealed), clay, ceramic, or just about any other non-toxic durable material; Dishes made of the same; various items related to cage decor; drawings/paintings of geckos/other reptiles; other things to decorate a reptile room

Maybe airbrushed t-shirts that say "geckos freakin rock"? lol

The sky's about the limit here :)

Hmmmm.... I am getting some good ideas, does anyone know if the "come and craft here" ceramic shops are a good place for non-toxic cage additions? Of course I am going to wait and see what my person requests before getting carried away. I oil-paint as a hobby could also use that if they don't want something that could actually go into their Gecko's cage.

The 25th needs to hurry up and get here! I love secret Santa stuff and want to gift now!

Wish I could join. Not 18, though. Man, I was just about ready to package a BBB! (just kidding)

Tosha, an oil paint would be a lovely gift. Maybe you could tell the person to send you a pic of their gecko or chosen pet to paint and then send the pic? If it were me, I have a pic of a cat we recently lost that I'd LOVE a oil pic of. *G* And as stated, it doesn't have to be totally gecko related.

And as far as the non toxic ceramic places, I would think that as long as non toxic supplies/materials are used then it's all safe.

Getting excited and can't wait for my person to shop for. *lol*

I cant imagine anyone not liking an oil painting. espes of a baby of your own. That would be super awesome!!!! i agree with heathere about the painting of a pet that has been lost.
