I can't decide for sure yet whether or not I like this leo. Sometimes I think she's really cool, and then sometimes I think she's got gross color. She's really kindof a washed-out green, but the head speckling couldn't make me happier.

What do you guys think? Be honest, I'm not gonna get offended if you don't like my leopard gecko, for sure... :main_thumbsup:

I know what you mean, I've had a few I've felt that way about as well. I'd recommend giving her a little time to grow up since she may change and even if not, she may grow on you in a more consistent way.

Well, she's a hold back either way. My eldest daughter claimed her for her very own early in the season. I just hope she holds some color, and doesn't fade out to almost white.

she's gorgeous... i would call her fancy pants... since her back legs have color and her front ones don't...

Thanks for the responses everybody. I think what makes me go back and forth so much is that I know how bright yellow with dark black she was at birth, and seeing her change every shed. She's funky looking, but she's in the mid 20g range, and I'm hoping she doesn't grow right on out of that funkiness and lose her color and enigma-ish body spots.

I love speckles, spots and bands, especially funkiness, but my experience with her mother was that they faded into adulthood.

The hatchling of the year was another BEE, and comparing the two, it should retain more color. So I'm anxious to see how they progress.

I've heard "white sides", but last I heard, it hadn't been proven genetic. Do you know anything more about it?

i think its line bred, but yeh theres a shortage of info on it atm. so could be genetic. i havent done anything on them so far but i really like the look of them. Id say theres definitely potential for some really good looking geckos.

I dont know if you know of the genetic trait in corns called 'Pied Sided' but im hoping that these 'White sides' could be the start of the Pied geckos :)
