So, these come from a local pet store- the lighter one on the left was sold as a super snow bell... (lol) and the darker pin striped one as a super snow "albino" (guessing tremper). The thing is... I am not SURE WHAT this Super Snow is. It has a full red eye, and a broken pattern, also it's skin is a very intense cotton candy pink vs. the opaque white of the other. I have seen that color before...... but I'm not gonna say where. I just wanted to put up some pictures and see what ideas you folks had to toss out for me. If you need more pics I can try to put them up. I have had two people that I trust tell me thier thoughts.. now your turn. :) Thanks so much.

Okay.. I am reviving this dead thread with an update... I did a test breed with the Mystery "Super Snow Bell" female. I bred her to my Snow Bell male. This morning all questions were answered! I really couldn't have asked for a better "experiment".... but it is too bad... okay.. here are the results.

One hatchie is not a snow.
One hatchie is a snow.
Neither are albino.

The Conclusion:
The mystery female is a Snow not a Super Snow because she had one normal hatchling and one snow. All offspring would have been Snows if she had been a Super Snow. This explains why her pattern is more broken up than a true Super Snow.
She is also not a Bell Albino, so she is most likely a Tremper as that is the most common albinism. If she had been a Bell, all offspring would have been Bells.
Finally, because we had thought she was a Super Snow, we assumed the full red eyes were due to the double copy Snow genes. However, now that we know she is not a Super Snow, we have learned that she is an Eclipse. This explains why her feet and face are all white.
So, although these babies are both het Radar (Bell and Eclipse), we will be culling them as they also are het Tremper.

Consequently the Mack Snow Tremper Albino Eclipse is now for sale.

NIce and healthly looking do you know what sex they are. I would keep separated you don't want to breed tremper to bell

Stager- this was an intentional test breed. Not a rookie error. The gecko was sold as a bell, and now I am going back to the reptile store to explain they were incorrect. The offpring will be culled and she will go into my Husband's snow raptor breeding program. I was sure she wasn't a bell... I am glad to see I was right, with the extra suprise of the eclipse gene... Kelli called it! Good on you Kelli!

I dont mean to sounds harsh but I would like to understand your thought process. If you thought it was Tremper why didn't you breed her to a tremper? that way if you were right you wouldn't have to cull any. If then you found out you were wrong I could understand culling. But you bought her as a bell, thought she was a tremper, was apparently told she was a tremper by some others but bred her to a bell anyways to test breed. Again I am not trying to be harsh. I am still learning and I like to know peoples thought process.

The fact of the matter is, although I was pretty suspicious she wasn't a Super Snow Bell, she was sold to me as a Super Snow Bell, and my Hubby also thought she was a Super Snow Bell. We do have a Sunglow Tremper Enigma male that we could have bred her to, but because we were told she was a Super Snow Bell and my husband thought she was a Super Snow Bell, we agreed the best course of action would be to breed her to our Snow Bell male. I understand your reasoning, and it is sound, but at the time the Snow Bell seemed the best choice. And yes, some did say she was a Tremper, but some also said she was a Bell if you look at previous posts. Hind sight is 20/20 lol.
It also could have gone the other way too. If my husband was right, and we bred her to the Snow Bell, we would be having a different discussion. It was because of our disagreement that I brought this to the forum-to see what everyone else thought before we decided what to do with her. Turns out, people were divided here as well, so we made the best decision we could with the information we had.

In my opinion, the best decision would have been not to breed her at all. If you are not sure of the animal and have suspicions....don't breed it, there's plenty of other geckos out there to use. Again, my opinion.
