This is what an adult Black Pearl looks like

This one hatched in 2009 and originally came from Urban Gecko. She lives with me now.

The other gecko is the male I am going to breed to her. His name is Merlin.

I'm determined to figure out what the deal is genetically with the Black Pearls.

I really hope you produce something nice, I just can't get past the fact that they look like a dirty normal... Do you think that eventually the all black color will stay through adulthood? But then again the tang's started somewhere long ago too... good luck!

LOL yeah Merlin is quite a bit darker than the Black Pearl! Well, we'll see what happens. If nothing else I will produce some nice, dark normals.

I agree, Marcia. We know Kelli will be straight up and no top secret formulas, that if disclosed, we would have to be killed :main_laugh:

Hmpf... I think it looks pretty cool as an adult... IMO a couple seasons is too soon to give up especially on a project that cost so much to get into... Kelli I'm glad you got one and I can't wait to see you produce some awesome stuff!
