Somewhat off topic, but what ever happened to the "blue" morph? I'm not talking about the leopard gecko with the blue hematoma on the tail from his book years ago, but the "blue belly" morph?

Jon

I heard that he was having issues with internal organs being too exposed. Basically it was a see through tummy and it wasn't very appealing. Just what I heard though.

Ron Tremper It is a mutation of a Super Snow Eclipse...... a new codom. I used a snow eclipse x abyssinian and then bred the double hets together. I now have produced over 25 and they are all the same with the full white face, which denotes it from a standard ss eclipse. With new codoms many forms can be made.

Not a bad price for a rare gecko I suppose. Even if it is just sse. I see a lot of common geckos selling for 800-1600. I just like the white face. Cross that into sunglows and such for some pretty animals.

I would like to see what "common" geckos you are seeing sell for that price. A SSE can be acquired for less than 200. People will pay the price because of the name and then realize when they produce them that they will be lucky to get anything in return for those babies. In my opinion a PURE SSE is far more valuable than those. You cross that with a Sunglow and you will have first gen Snow Glows...nothing to grovel over.

I'd love an sse for 200. I think tang is the most common gene and it goes through the roof in price. I have never seen a snowglow with a white face. I'd be willing to pay 1000 for a white face sunglow though to add to my group.

Wish I would have sold you some of my Snowglows last year then. They are not as rare as you would think. Polygenetic morphs always swill cost more because of the amount of time that is involved to produce them. When I have time ill browse for a sse and post the cheapest one I can find. Either way I would NEVER pay more than 300 for a SSE. Its co-dom and recessive...once you have one you can make hundreds with VERY little effort.

The white face is only expressed in the SS Eclipses, I don't believe it would carry over to a Sunglow. I could be wrong though...

It's probably a pipe dream. I've seen lots of sunglow raptors and they don't have a white face. You know if the Mack snows had a white face? Or is it just when a full eclipse gene meets a double copy of snow gene? I wanted your threesome of sse you had for sale last season.

I didn't see them on your site. I'd buy an eclipse snowglow if you get more.

I stopped working with them because I dont like working with Tremper albinos. I sold off everything last year and the only ones I produced this year were bi-products from my Creamsicle project. My brother in law is the one who works a lot with SSE because he does a LOT of Blackhole stuff so those things pop out all the time as biproducts from that. They are a VERY nice gecko and I do fully enjoy them (have one coming this year...but its a PURE eclipse)..all I am saying is that there is no way that is worth $1000 UNLESS there is truely something else genetically involved which is inheritable to more than just SSE.

For sure 1000 is too much. Kelli had awesome ones for 225 but they sold before I got paid. I think 100-250 would be reasonable. Especially if it is as easy as two- three years of breeding. I'm more of an albino lover which is why I got a super raptor, same thing but white.

Yea I produced a bunch of Super Raptors last year as well. The thing with those are that once you have one they are just duplicated so easily. Watch the radar market as all these people working with them try to dump them all on the market at the same time. 2 radars = more radars....first few years are high bucks then its all down hill and will plateau at a "fair" price...at which point line breeding them is the only way to inflate prices. Anyways we are off topic so if you have any questions feel free to pm me.
