Oh yeah.. this is defintely my BIGGEST PET PEEVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're just riding the bus or are in public, minding your own business.. and someone starts talking to you, being all nice and friendly.. that's AWESOME, but of course, there's always something!! It usually turns into "do you go to Church?" and then they want to try to get you to go to theirs!!! Or they just want to talk about Jesus with you, or talk about the Bible. OMG!!! Okay, first of all.. I don't follow any organized religion, I have my own personal set of beliefs that take bits and pieces from several different religions.. anyway.. I do believe in a higher power, and I believe that we all believe in the same thing, just call it by a different name, and there's no need to argue. You may hear me say "you'll be in my prayers." Well that's because I pray to whoever may be listening.. I believe in the power of prayer, good/positive thoughts. But that does NOT mean that I go to Church and put a dollar in the collection plate... anyway.. it really PISSES ME OFF when people try to push their beleifs on me. It's always certain groups too, you know who you are..

Do I go around trying to push my beliefs on you?? NO. So PLEASE, give me the same respect and leave me the HELL ALONE!!

Rob, signs of illiteracy really piss me off too lol.. well maybe not piss me off, but that's definitely a pet peeve. My fiance can't spell or write for shit!! It bothers the crap out of me.

I HATE WHEN PEOPLE SAY "Supposebly"

OMG it is SUPPOSED with LY on the end, how hard is it???

SUPPOSEB is NOT a word people! lol

I'm sure I"ll probably get hammered for this but....

1. Children on those leash restraints! What the hell, they're not dogs. If you can't control your kids without them than the problem is with the parents.

2. Obese children. We live in a world where junk food is No. 1. We should be able to control what and how much we should be feeding our kids.

3. Pet birthday PARTIES...Are you kidding me?

That last one really made me laugh, I had never heard of that before!

These are the two things that really piss me off at the moment:

1.) illegal immigrants (legal immigrants are GREAT!)
2.) having to choose #1 or #2 for English.

Yeah, that really pisses me off too, ESPECIALLY living in AZ.. they hop the border and just come on over!!

I'll only be brutally honest if someone asks for my honest opinion. Otherwise, I'm truthful, but polite. I try really hard not to say anything mean to people. I'm a peacekeeper by nature.:)

Me too.. I'm the one that's always in the middle of things, trying to keep the peace. As for my brutal honesty.. I wasn't always like that.. before I was just too nice, and never spoke up. But since I have changed to being more open, things are much different.. at first, I didn't know how to be honest AND polite.. I'm learning though :D

Here's a few:

I work in the copy center of Office Depot so some of these are geared towards work.

1. When the copy machines are clearly marked where to put the originals on the glass, how to orient the paper in the feeder, and has very clear directions on how to operate the damn thing (which isn't that hard to begin with) and people won't fucking READ! I can't tell you how many times someone has approached me and commenced wailing about how the copier isn't working, it's spitting out blank sheets. (I could understand if the copier wasn't clearly marked about where to put the originals..but it is very, very, VERY clearly marked. People just won't read)

2. When people bring me a HUGE job (tons of copies of books/manuals, big binding jobs, etc) and expect to be done while they wait or by the next morning. I'm sorry, but we have jobs before yours and if it was a reasonably sized document I could probably get it done within the hour..but since you want 20 copies of 300+ page books..no way in hell is that going to happen. The copier can't even spit them out that fast and it isn't my problem that you waited until the day before the oh-so-important business meeting to get it done!

3. whn ppl tipe liek dis. u no who u r. I can't STAND that. For texting on a phone I could understand, but when you're writing something on a forum PLEASE make it legible. I don't want to translate from your n00b speak to English.

4. When people want me to draw them detailed scenes and characters for free.

5. Finding a huge mess all over the kitchen. Not only is the food left out uncovered, but there is also sauce on the floor and counters... gross. This is part of the reason why I am moving into my own apartment this go around.

6. When my roommate neglects to squeeze out the damn sponge and it mildews :(

I feel better :D

My hate list is just too long, lol. Here are a few:
1. Animal abuse and some idiots in news discussion forums reacting to the news like "what's the big deal, its just an animal."
2. Poachers - if I have a gun I want to shoot them down too.
3. People that cannot accept that they lost money from this financial tsunami. There are a bunch of people here in my country that bought Lehman Brothers mini-bonds, and now they grouped together, go on the streets and protest to the banks everyday, trying to get 100% of their money back PLUS the interest!! WTF!

You wanna know what really boils my blood?

My fiance has a piece of shit for a father and I lovingly say that. The guy has well over $100k in the bank and can't give us even enough for a "rehearsal dinner". If he dares to say anything about how I PAY for our wedding while on unemployment that dude will get put on the spot instantly.

My wedding is on May 30th so he has to get an expensive flight in :main_evilgrin: memorial day weekend and short notice :main_laugh:

I have owned a home with his daughter for 11 years and he couldn't make the 8 mile drive over more than 3 times in 11 years. Thankfully he moved to FL last year, so has an excuse lately.

Can you tell I don't like him due to his self-centeredness , greed and lack of family values?

Unfortunately, we have one of those too - Mike's mother.. I could go on and on forever about her piece-of-shit-ass, how she's never been a mother from day one. We live 10 minutes from her, but we never see her, never get a phone call, she's never even been in our fucking apartment. That really makes my blood boil too. Oh, but she's got a GREAT relationship with Mike's sister, talks to her all of the time, helps support her. We can't even get a measly $5 from her because she can't afford it, all the while she spends $10 on a cup of coffee from Starbucks every day. She committed her own son into a mental institution because she was having problems with him at a young age.. all he needed was some love and attention.. But like I said, I could go on and on.. The bitch will get hers in the end.

PAUL, I feel for you.. fuck him, he obviosuly can't be a man for his own daughter, just another pathetic excuse of a human being in my book. Best wishes to you and your soon-to-be wife, Paul. The two of you deserve the best, and I wish you the upmost of happiness with one another :sweetheart:

I think we should be able to line up people like that, and shoot them one by one. Population control, for starters.. make the world a better place, too.

Thank you for the very nice comments :)

I agree about the dog poop.. that's just straight up disrespect. If you don't have the decency to carry around a few ziploc baggies with you to pick up after your own dog, then maybe you shouldn't have one!

I don't wish anything but KARMA on those that do me or Michelle wrong.

I was blessed with a "family oriented" family and a father who raised 3 boys by himself at a young age. I have great friends, great family and a great woman! Michelle has the love of MY family and that's enough for us. Her brother is extremely close and I supported him for 8 years while he got his shit right. He now lives an hour away and visits every few weeks and they talk atleast twice a day. He cares far less for his father than her, but let's face it....

We can't choose our parents and even the worst mother is better than no mother(Believe me, I know from experience)

I feel so blessed to have the kind and wonderful parents I Have. They are truly the most honest, smart and caring people I've ever known. I know this is the Fight Club but... I love my mom and dad!

Damb Right Kelli!!! I would be lost without the love and guidance of my father. No shit, MY FATHER is my best man in my wedding and I had no second choice. Nobody can compare to him.. nobody!

Back to being mad at michelle's dad. I truely hope he can find some love to share at my wedding, but I will have plenty either way :)

Kelli, you look like mommy

Well being a student I have a part time job. This horrid part time job is in a bakery. Well we take cake orders, and we tell people that it will be ready at the time they asked for on the order sheet, not whenever the decide to come and pick it up. For instance, if the pick up time is 12 pm, then do not show up at 10 am and expect for your cake to be all ready to go. The customers act like we have been standing there talking all morning...NO!

Moral of the story, I hte my job and this is a huge pet peeve for me!

I know, I know, Paul.. it was a joke :main_yes:

I was blessed with the most loving family a girl could have, I don't know what I would do without my parents.. but in Mike's case, having a horrible mother and having NO mother are the very same thing in his eyes. At any rate, once we move, my mom will be a mother to him, so at least he will have her

Oh jeez, do I have a lot. Here goes:

-I believe just about everyone has mentioned the whiney/imputent brat thing. IF YOU CAN'T STAND THE CHILD THEN GET OUT OF THE FUCKING NURSERY. Seriously. Why do you have children if you don't want to take care of them? (Same goes for animals.) I mean, I know children can be taxing, especially if they have a predisposition such as ADHD or Asperger's or something, but if your child continuously acts like a little monster in public then maybe they should stay home. Children shouldn't be taught that just because they have a particular behavioral condition that their bad behavior is justified.

-Expanding on the thing about owning animals and not caring for them; I know many people have animals that when they get sick or something they can't afford to take them to the vet. As long as you have the desire I don't think it matters. Luckily, we have always found ways to care for our sick animals, even if it put us in debt for a few years. But sometimes there is no way. This peeve is directed at people who have pets because of impulse buys or whatever and don't take care of them because they're lazy or have lost interest in the pet. A former housemate of ours who is now renting on his own has a very sweet young cat that has a ginormous growth on his abdomen. He makes more than enough money to have the growth removed, but he has done nothing for this animal beyond feed him and clean his litter box, and even then I'm sure there are days he forgets....

-Always having to be the one that does the chores around the house. I'm almost always the one that cleans our living area, feeds/waters all the animals and clean out the litter boxes (even though one of the cats isn't even ours). We still live with my husband's in-laws, so my husband is still locked in 'home mode' in that this mode prevents him from seeing messes and/or cleaning them up himself. His parents do the same thing. The upstairs fridge is really gross, but they keep putting off cleaning it out. I don't know about you, but I was raised that when you make a mess, you clean it the fuck up. I do everything else around here, I'll be damned if I'm going to clean out their fucking fridge.
I'd say that my husband IS going to college and working, while I haven't had a job and have been out of university for a few weeks now, but I still have to do everything even when it's the other way around.
I just expect others that I work with to work as hard as I do.

-People who can't fucking drive. I mean, those that race ahead of you just to get to the red light, those that tailgate, those that don't use blinkers, etc. And for some reason, those who drive large trucks and/or SUVs think they own the fucking road. No offense to those on here who DO drive them and are good drivers. But it just seems like they have all congregate in this town.

-People who litter. There are trash cans placed intermittenly along the side walks and bike paths for a FUCKING REASON. USE THEM. How'd you like it if I went to YOUR house and just dumped my garbage in your living room? Stop being so fucking lazy. UGH!

-People who send me all the info for their characters and/or a request for a picture and expect it to be free. I seriously had this happen not too long ago. Someone emailed me a badly drawn reference for a character asking me to redo it. He didn't even ask me really, he just assumed I was taking requests. When I emailed him back and told him I don't do requests, he emails me and says "what r u talking abot? u said so on ur DA journel". Obviously this guy can't read let along type. I guess I just dislike people who want something for nothing in general.

-People who lie and/or two-faced. I mean, like those that act like they're your best friend and end up flipping out on you in the end and/or stirring up drama behind your back. I had this happen to me so many times in high school that now I am suspicious of everyone who tries to be my friend.

-People who complain and complain and don't do anything to help the situation or themselves. I got overweight and I complained, but now I'm trying to do something about it. (I know sometimes there's nothing you can do though beyond complain. :p) "Be the change you want to see." ~ Ghandi

-People who step over those who need help. Back in VA there was a local man who had lost the use of his legs and rode around in a motorized scooter. He was crossing an intersection when his battery suddenly died. People were just going around him in their cars, even those on foot just kinda walked on by. I think maybe people were scared of him because he looked homeless. My brother and I were out for a walk when we saw him and realized something was wrong. We helped him cross the street and into a nearby gas station so that he could call for someone to help. Seriously, folks, it doesn't take a moment most of the time. We live in hard times, we have to help each other out.

-People who kill or harm others due to their religion. Isn't it the Golden Rule to "treat others as you would like to be treated"? Would you expect someone to kill YOU because of what YOU believe in? Seriously, WTF? I know in the news lately there's been a lot of mention of Middle Eastern religious peoples harming others, but other religions have their own crazies too. Sometimes I think people are just really bored or must have other underlying problems themselves in order to do something like kill someone because they are of a different faith.

-Child molestors/raptists. These people, if found guilty - ESPECIALLY under multiple accounts - simply need to die, and not sit around in prison using up our tax dollars so that they can live comfortably.

-Same goes for those who abuse animals.

-People who think the world revolves around them.

-Rude people in general.

-Americans who think that 'American' is an ethnicity and a language. Seriously.

-I just don't like people. XD Or I guess I should say; I don't like NORMAL people. Us weirdos have to stick together. :p

Oh thought of some that don't have anything to do with people;

-Losing things, especially when I'm sure of their previous location.

-Losing socks in the wash. Seriously; where the hell do they go??? Narnia? Another dimension? HELL? I've a pile of mateless socks. :(

-When things break or stop working for no apparent reason. Not only is it frustrating, sometimes it's just plain weird and inexplicable.

-Female leopard gecko ovulation period. I love my leos and all but I just get so frustrated with them sometimes.

-When I drop and break things. I've no one to blame but myself. ;-;

-When my cat wakes me up at four in the morning because I apparently just rolled over and she thinks it's petting time. (I have a very cuddly cat.)

-Being sleepy even though I got plenty of sleep the night before. How the hell does that happen??
