That centipede is pretty cool.

Texas looks great and all the herps is a big plus. Up here we have tons of box turtles, painted turtles, sliders, snappers, garter snakes, toads, bullfrogs, green frogs, and my personal favorite spring peepers!

That's a pretty neat assortment for a more "northern" state. We don't have a shortage of amphibians here, but aside from a few western paints and common snappers, the only other reptiles are those goofy ones with white hair that drive Buicks. :p

Awesome pics!

Paul, I know where the largest Timber Rattlesnake den in the country is and it's actually not too far from you if you need more Wisconsin native herps. :p I won't post it here because I don't want to tip off any idiots that'd kill them all...

God, we need to go herping soon. To think I still have yet to herp in West Texas. Sure, I've made it damn near every where else but a 6 hour drive, too much, hahaha.

I know! I have not been to Del Rio since 2004! I think I am ready to go back to paradise this year.:main_yes:

We can all pitch in and buy a BIG house and we can all live together as one big happy family....LOL
I've been researching real estate in both CA and TX, and it's been rather frustrating. CA has some awesome homes, but I don't know if I could afford one large enough for me and my geckos :( Texas on the other hand... well, there's just something fishy about a huge surplus of 5-bedroom brick mansions that are <10 years old for under $200K.

Hey Paul
It is true Texas is a great place to buy a home ! I was born and lived a great deal of my life in California and love everything about it ( right Marcia ) but the cost of living and everything else is sooo expensive ! Texas does have unbelievable deals on homes and properties. Check out this link http://www.har.com it may be helpful.:main_robin: Y'all come on back now, ya hear?! - Keith

Well, OK then. I think we ALL should just move to Texas. After all, California doesn't have any wild herps.
Marcia, if we did that we'd probably cause a black-out if we all plugged in our racks at the same time. :main_laugh:

Well, then maybe you need to stop holding back ALL your geckos ;)

paul we just bought a house in one of the most expensive areas in texas (the corridor.. which is between san antonio and austin on I35) and with 200k you could buy an awesome huge house for you and all your geckos
