32 days after copulation, 7 days after prelay shed, we got eggs on the ground... This is an exciting clutch for me...
Got 12 eggs... 2 of which look sluggish and the rest look good...

She is a young female at 14 months old... She was up to size so I figured she would be good to go... Worked out perfectly...

Here are some photos...

Thanks everyone!!!

Whats the point of giving a lay box? She already has some eco earth.

The point about giving her a laybox is the same as any reptile... They need it in order to properly nest...

The eco earth you see outside the nest box is what she moved out of the lay box in order to give herself some room to lay this good sized clutch...

Her bin is very dry... That is how you keep hogs... She would not have had a proper nest spot without her lay box... If they can not find proper nesting, they may become egg bound...

Hope this answers your question my friend...:main_thumbsup:

Oh I thought some of that was some substrate and some people told me that they liked eco earth that is dry but not very wet though...
