And yes, RT is quite the Salesman... he knows how to Market his product, and how to make something sell... thats why he has done well... I mean heck, if he can make an Albyssinian and charge quadruple the price of an Eclipse, then hey, more power to him!

Well Robin when it is listed as a Jungle raptor or a banded raptor you should know exactly what your getting. I don't see what part of that you don't understand. Ron Tremper came up with the Raptor morph and he also claims banded and jungle raptors, So with that being said people should just except it and not complain about it. When you come out with your own morph you can write the rules how ever you want but you can't change what Ron has already done. Sorry to get off topic on your thread. You have a very nice raptor, good luck with your futher projects..

That would be neat to know Zach. Have you only seen patternless stripes coming from your pair? It'd be nice to have that trait "locked in" on some "raptors". Our raptors throw everything under the sun...from the classic patternless-stripe look to crazy zig zag bold and banded stuff.

How bout we solve the problem by calling Raptors what they really are, a Tangerine Tremper Albino Eclipse? Doesn't sound good from that point of view does it? If they have the same genetics then why do people want them to be called something totally different? How can they be bull if they have the same genetics?

Ron may have some things that people don't understand or don't agree with but like Gregg said he has done more for leopard Geckos then anyone can even begin to think about. He understand more then 99.9 percent of people on here but yet we want to say that he is wrong for calling them Banded Raptors. He is the creator and I believe that gives him the right to call them what he wants.

yes, because i mean ok i know because i know the history and genetics BUT what if i was the new guy? a person that didnt understand genetics or morphs. say they have a banded tremper but think it's a banded raptor. then they go on and breed and sell. first off what they are selling as raptors are not and also it is perpetuating stupidity and ignorance. make it simple for people, let them know exactly what they have. ok so it takes longer to type but at least they know what they have.
