YEAH BUDDY! Talk about an awesome 97 yard drive by DA BEARS! Not a good game overall but they squeaked one out. I almost felt bad for the Philly Fans but that's how I felt last week.

Giants? Where is this unwarranted blasphemy spewing forth from? EWWWW.
I think that it will be the Colts in the superbowl, not the fabled Pats. The pats have had very good timing in playing the Colts, who were missing some key players, same said for the game against Dallas who was missing 3 key players as well. The fact that the Colts nearly beat them without three starters should turn some heads. But it wont because the media, the nfl, the refs, and the country have basically handed the Pats the Lombardi already...

Aside from that Go Cowboys, nice crushing of the E-girls. Its time to pass the torch, get your popcorn ready.

I must say, the Colts surprised me yesterday! I was saying since Friday, they had to bring the same game they brought last year in the playoffs, and for at least the first 3 quarters of play they did. But it just goes to show you, you have to play 4 quarters in order to win. Especially against a team as good as the Patriots. I still think the Colts are better.

Unfortunately, you're right in that all the hype right now is Pro-Patriots! :main_rolleyes:

GeckoStud, the media never even mentioned that the Pats lost 2 starting DBs also. I'm sorry, but Peyton actually surprised me with how mediocre he played. I expected the Pats to win from the start, but after the game started, Manning had plenty of chances to pull away. Brady made the plays when he had to. Manning's only TD pass was a dump-off that Addai turned into gold (incredible run). Manning failed to score a TD in multiple red zone possesions. Back to the injury thing, I hate that excuse with a passion. Every team has injuries. The Bears made it to the playoffs with a top ranked defense missing very key defensive players all year. Injuries are a part of football and should not be used as an excuse. Both the Colts and Pats had them, and probably will all year.

Perhaps but injuries still affect the games potential outcome, an excuse or not. If Brady were to go down I garuntee the Pats would be no where near as dominate. And you all know it too.

Well, the Bears squeaked out an UGLY victory while the Vikes and Lions both lost. But what surprised me more this weekend was Manning's 6 INTs against the Chargers. Even with his horrific play, they almost won.

Of course they affect games potential outcomes, but my point is, every team has injuries every game. If you start using injuries as an excuse, every single NFL game in the history of the league should be blamed partly on injuries. It is such a different game that basketball and baseball in that injuries are literally part of the game. Claiming an outcome would be different if there were injuries is a useless point. There are injuries and always will be. My opinion, at least....

Agreed but some injuries are a bit more key than others... I mean losing Marvin Harrison is gonn hurt more than Moorehead... Just my 2 cents... Hating the Pats might not help over here though ;).

The Cowboys Vs. The Packers should be a pretty good game. I want the Cowboys to win since the Pack is in the NFC North but I don't think it's going to happen. The Packers will come out victorious much to my dismay.

Oh Ye of little faith, The Boys aren't going down that easy. But agreed it should be a good game. It really comes down to who's defense breaks.

What a terrible game for the Bears! The defense was horrendous again. Only bright spot was my man Devin Hester. That guy is awesome!:main_thumbsup:
