First off I would like to congratulate Craig on his acquisition of this magnificent gecko morph.

Regardless of the genetic nature of the morph those are some outstanding looking geckos for sale on his website. I’ve spent many hours admiring the geckos he produces and often marvel over his ability to continually rise above the crowd of North American reptile breeders. The fact that Craig performs these feats from within the borders of Canada makes his success all that much more amazing.

Good luck with the Black Pearls. I’m sure there will be some fantastic black geckos coming out of the TUG stable for many years to come…

I think that Gregg might spit nickels if it was thought that he also looked into aquiring the "poop" with legs as he stated before. (okay not that exact wording.:p)

Kendra, I know a heck of a lot more than I care to let out... LOL...

Anyway, I have no problem with people knowing that we looked into it... We saw the price, (much less than what they are on the market for now)the overall look of the animals and the uncertainty of the genetics and passed them up without looking back... Same for some other European projects... However there are some other projects in Europe we are very interested in and will be getting into...

Calling them turds with legs might have been a bit harsh but I was going more for the joke factor with that line... I know for a fact that MANY people thought it was funny...

As far as it being the exact same thing as super hypo tangs but only reverse, I think it is very incorrect... We did not get super hypo tangerines from high yellows... One has nothing to do with the other... A bit of a history lesson on these morphs might clear things up a bit...

I could be wrong but I really do not see this morph going anywhere close to black... Like many have said as well as my self in the past, I would not think twice about buying a true melanistc leo... I just cant bring myself to buy an all brown one...

I think people will change their minds... It may just take some time... I don't know how anybody can look at the adults and not be impressed...

However there are some other projects in Europe we are very interested in and will be getting into...

Meh, I have a wormhole in my rack connected to a secret breeding facility that is producing the most cutting edge morphs... All I can say is it's somewhere in Asia...

With all the other morphs that have had problems and have been released without the true knowledge of the genetics being known then i see no problem with people being hesitant about this morph right of the bat and being stern with trying to figure things out more.

People may be knocking this morph down a little that only because they know that nothing is really know about this "MORPH" besides it could be this or that genetically. Most people don't see taking chance on something that isn't known or isn't proved out and thats the smart path to me!

Like everyone is saying if was all black then yes we could see why the hype is so high but its not black, its dark yellow and brown with black spots.

I THOUGHT THE JOKE WAS FUNNY!

OK, I've had just about enough of this and sadly this thread is on a downward spiral. I think I'll close it for now. The usual suspects never fail to let me down, do they. :main_no:

You know what? I'm starting to think this thread has run it's course if we can't think of anything that adds value to the original TOPIC. If we can't get back on course, I'll simply close it so we can move on.
