Filtered Water or Tap Water

Isn't it funny how bottled water CAN BE same as tap. Only they are regulated less than state water.

As far as I know, distilled is stripped of everything (and thats what the issue is with people, that in time it will leach minerals from the body) can you send me a link about the chloro traces, nats?

I use a water purifier for my water and I'm going to use the same thing for my geckos.

I just buy a 24 pack of store water for like 2.50 it lasts a long time, and i know its super pure.(no chlorine)

I use Tap Water
It's easier and quicker plus I drink it so there's nothing wrong with it.

i use both. filtered water for their water dishes, tap water to spray/mist their hide boxes.

I use tap but I was told that if you let it sit out for 24 hours that most of the bad stuff evaporates?

i live in humboldt county... we have great water..

But it is purified with certain chemicals so i use reptisafe and drop a couple drops in it it cleans it right up..

Chlorine will evaporate from tap water if you leave it out for 24 hours. But sometimes there are a lot of chemicals in tap water. I use bottled/filtered for my leo.

But no, I actually am not a fan of government intervention in the smallest details of our lives (this coming from a federal officer... ironic)
I know I'm a little eccentric... okay, I'm not wealthy enough to be eccentric, so the right word would be crazy... but things like those warning labels and the tags on pillow cases just make me laugh sometimes!

there is a reason we have those laws, namely because people are not honest.

you know that melamine square they are having in china? dont think that woulnt happen in the US. it *used* to happen. the only reason it doesnt happen now, is because we have those laws in place.

I use nice cold filtered water from my fridge

I use bottled water most of the time because I can keep it right next to the cage whenever I need to refill it. And I have a filter on my faucet, so sometimes I use that purified water too...

I give my leos bottled water, although there are more restrictions placed on tap water, so I've been told.

My leo gets what I drink. Tap water at home because we have a well and its clean, and bottled water on campus because I don't trust the tap water there at all. My chemistry professor freshman year actually advised us not to drink the tap water.
