Funny Things Your Leos Do?

I have three geckos, and each of them have their funny things they do.
My first one, a regular male, likes to walks all over me, but when he gets to my arm, the arm hair seems to tickle him, as he walks he sets one foot down, picks it back up and shakes is before he sets it back down and takes the step.
The second a high yellow male, when he eats he closes his eyes and just flails around with his mouth, biting anything near untill he happens to bite the mealworm.
And my third one, a little female with a wierd pattern is a ferocious eater, if her food dish is empty she will bite anything that moves as soon as she sees me, which could be a mealworm, my finger, paper towel she's walking over, or the chopsticks i use to pick up the mealies.

I'm pretty sure this is rather normal but Val rattles her tail like a snake whenever she sees prey around. Cricket walks by and up goes the tail, it sounds like a rattle when she's inside of her little mushroom box hide.

I've found she also likes to climb up my arm and go from shoulder to shoulder, being sure to get herself as entangled in my hair as possible on the way to and from.

HAHA...it's always funy scaring unexpecting people. Especially if they are your little sister. I have a total of 11 leos, and one in particular does something funny. She is an adult hypo, and she will walk over the edge of my han and spread her front legs out as she hangs on with her back feet. When I give her the other hand, she does the exact same thing over again until she's bored with it. I thought it was funny.

What one of my males do that cracks me up is...

When he is mating, and he just cannot keep the female still, if I walk by his cage, he will give up on her and chase me. Then when he reaches the glass, he thinks he has my foot and start biting the glass, thinking he is mating with that. Then I would sometimes have geckos in his view from his cage. I like mine getting exercise and will let them walk around. If one walks by, he will give up on the girl and start giving chase to her. When he realizes that he isn't really mating with nothing but the cage, he will go back to his girl and start mating again.
Other times, he will see me feeding others, he will stop mating, go climb his cage, stare at the food. I will give him some food. When he is done eating, he will go back to mating. Other times, he will stop to drink some water and lick calcium, and the females cope with him.

He only does this stuff when the female won't keep still, but mating takes hours due to his attention span.

Wow, this is very funny. That guy sure is flaky with his attention span.....Maybe put on a little "mood music" for him.

The first day I got my leo he was trying to climb up the class. Well he started to do it in one corner and was there for a good 20 min or so I walked over to him to see what he was doing and it turned out he fell asleep like that. Two legs up on the glass and the other 2 on the carpet completely stretched out on the glass.

Emily convinsed me to tell everyone this.. So I shall :) Okay.... I just put a tank divider in my two four month old leos 20 gallon long tank because they both turned out to be males. Well yesterday I tossed a few crickets in to Ebony's side of the tank. On the on the other side Skyler saw a cricket through the plexi glass divider and lunged at the cricket, which was on the other side... It was really funny. I laughed for about four minutes. Then I tossed a few crickets in with Skyler, and he was happy. :)

Just thought I'd share.

When my First leo was around 5 months old i was getting ready for school and she saw my little dog gizzmo that was sitting on the floor wanting to play and she stood up real tall (like when she sees a mealie)and acted like she was gonna pounce even though her cage is 4ft of the ground. she didnt she just stood there until the dog left.

My gecko is a goof!
Well, when he's trying to jump out of my hands and half of him isn't being held, he stiffens his arms and splays them straight out! It's like he's trying SO hard to touch the floor! LOL!
Then sometimes (not very often) when he's out of his cage (I let him run around the living room while I watch him) he'll start staring REALLY intently at something and then he lifts his tail up (almost vertical) and starts wagging it SUPER SLOWLY back and forth! It's so cute! :)
Then I took him in the backyard (I let him run around there when I watch him as well as the living room) he found some long grass and thought somehow he could burrow under it! So he starts shoving his head (really hard) at the grass! It's SO funny! :D
