She's doing just fine! She'll have a couple of sutures that need to come out in 4-5 weeks. Now, maybe she'll eat and start growing! How is the little Patty girl after her hernia surgery? I am hoping that went well, also!
I do not want to post the total bill because my vet does not charge me the same rates for his services he charges most of his other clients.Perhaps a total bill so far for the procedures will reinforce your words of caution about thinking before breeding your leopards.
She cried out from being in pain, and I can't describe it other than it sounding like a puppy or kitten letting out a cry. Leah is lethargic, and does not want to move or open her eyes all the way. I just don't want to give up on her yet and put her down, but her condition is grave. Why do you suppose she would let out a loud cry like that? What did it sound like? How is she doing now?
If you don't have the money for veterinary care for your geckos, you should not be breeding them, IMHO.
