come on Gregg--you said and I quote (again):
I have to say that most of your info in threads as far as basic husbandry and care go are useful and correct but some things are quite shakey at best...
that is not a fact, that is your opinion, and you didn't even site what you thought was "shakey at best"... You accuse me of putting out inaccurate info, and then you go and do exactly that in another thread. (meaning of F1) None of us are right all of the time.

All of the info I put out on that thread was very accurate. I also said that it was my FEELING that the term is not used correctly when talking about leo morphs... I also know for a fact that the info I provided as far as wild caught importation of leos from Countries we can legally import from was 100% correct and accurate...

Besides, that is another thread all together. Not even sure why you even brought that up... Should I site and repost all of your misinformation I have seen in your threads???

Again, no apology here my man. I stated my opinion and never claimed it to be fact and never mislead anyone to think it was fact... Everyone else can draw their own conclusions...

I don't want an apology from you guys (Baoh & Ian), I want an apology from Gregg, for the "quite shakey at best" comment. You may have been dismissive and slightly rude, but you guys didn't break the TOS.

Gregg didn't break the TOS. His "Quite shaky at best" was I believe referring to your opinion, not you personally, and is not abusive or demeaning. We all have different opinions on things here, and intelligent discussion is welcome. Without scientific data to back any of this up, all of our opinions are just that: opinions... not facts.

No problem, Gregg, and for the record I think the discussion is a good one and no need for the thread to be closed or for warning points to start being issued. YET of course. :)

What exactly qualifies data as scientific? Isn't everything anyone can post an opinion, even their breeding results? I've already asked a few times, but I really want an answer so I can contribute like everyone else whose opinions/experiences/deductions go unquestioned. I'm not trying to be a poo, I just want to be treated like a human being...

Evidence that can be directly measured or measured indirectly by a standard that would withstand scrutiny as applied via some incarnation of the scientific method. No, reporting what is known and visually apparent is not necessarily an opinion unless that report has been colored by perception that would not be common to humankind (more appropriately, peers) within the limits of reason.

It doesn't have to truly be scientific. It needs to be stated in a manner that is not misleading or based on opinion. An evidence based report. Mind you, one can offer a hypothesis as an opinion or a working theory as an opinion with a heap of very direct and verifiable recorded evidence measured by quantifiable means.

One can offer opinions a-plenty if only claimed to be as much.
