Ninja. I named Ninja, Ninja because when I put Ninja in with the one gecko I had he fought like a Ninja and almost bit the other gecko's head right off. That was a very long time ago and yes I know now not to put in same tank as another Gecko. Just saying that is where Ninja got his name. Ninja, a fighter. You don't want to mess with him. :D

Loving the names and this post...

I have 4 geckos

Willow~my first gecko (Hypo tangerine poss super) and always loved the movie and name Willow that can fit male or female seeing as I don't know the sex yet tho i think it a boy..means graceful or slender and he is slender or streamlined in the body.

Stubs~ SHTCT~thinking might be a female but still unsure bcause too young was named so bcause 1/2 her tail must have been bitten off when it was a baby and therefore is "stubby" now lol tho fat and getting longer.

Maximus~adult male high yellow...named by hubby after the lead character in the movie Gladiator (one of hubbies favorite movies) he was origionally name wizzy but I didn't care for that name at all so changed it

Zari~ My special needs girl right now ..Zari an African American name meaning Golden..she is suppose to be a Banana Blizzard but idk for sure

hopefully I will be getting many moreleos but for now this is it and my hubby eventually wants a beardy after we get our rack and get the peos we want! :D

Rem is just named Rem because he looks like the chacter he's named after.

I saw a resemblance in the faces. Especially when Rem's pupils aren't dilated.

Was just looking through here but I do have to say, I just watched Death Note not too long ago and I really love it. In the process of reading the manga now :)

As for my geckos, my male SHTCT is named Dante (after the character from Devil May Cry) and it does sort of fit him. He thinks he's all big and bad, is very brave and can have a bit of an attitude at times. My male high yellow is named Mikko, and there's no real meaning with that name. Just a Finnish name I thought was cute. Still haven't named my tremper albino female but I'm looking for a name still.

Leos: Clementine, Kiwi and Lola (Clementine is very orange, Kiwi is a normal but when she's in a shed she looks sorta green/grey, Lola was named by my daughter.)

Beardie: Petunia (She has a bad attitude and Petunia is a very ironic name for her.)

Red Footed Tortoises: George and Lucille (Named after my grandparents neighbors. She was bossy and nosy and he was quiet--fits their personalities perfectly!)

Crested Gecko: Elvis (He's just soooo cool!)

wow. Some very unique names on here. I wish I gave mine more thought. I only have one leopard gecko. Her name is Spottackus...(haven't really decided how I should spell it) but Spots for short. It's common, I know. I was just preparing her for the future when she got her spots in. lol And it was more of a boy name because I wanted a male, but she turned out female so...oh well...I had already named her by then.

I want a second one..and I want to call her Dots...so then the pair would be Spots and Dots but we'll see... lol

my two normals:
banana and split, because they came as a pair and i thought it looked like them. also, the female's tail is regrown so we chose "split" for her.

my new carrot tail baby:
it's between little foot, carrot stick, and cheezeball. i can't decide!

Wow, I kind of forgot about this thread lol.. it'll take me some time to catch up on the reading

I have a male SHTCT that is named Astronaut. We named him this after watching an episode of 70's Show where Kelso reads from a Boy's Life mag that "Astronaut's get all the Tang they want". That is pretty much what my male SHTCT gets :)

LMAO I remember that episode :main_laugh: :main_laugh: :main_laugh:
Kitty didn't understand "what's so funny about Tang" :main_laugh: :main_laugh:

If you haven't named him yet, I put in my vote for little foot!

I've also got a new addition, named her Akira, but I haven't met her yet. I'm meeting her tomorrow! We named her Akira because it means "bright" or "intellegent" and she's constantly searching around, exploring everything..

We have quite a few names lined up for the hatchlings to come, too. But we have to meet the little guys before we can decide on names!
