Whats the funniest thing your gecko(s) have ever done?

I decided to bump....

Yesterday night i had 2 funnies happen in about a minute of each other

I was feeding the babies...and i knew this was gonna happen sooner or later....but Freya thought she hit the jackpot with a huge worm, which was actually Bubba's tail

I looked at her just as she was getting all excited and ready to strike and then she bit onto his tail :laugh4:

He was startled and whipped round and kinda headbutted her and she let go.

Then i dropped a mealworm in and before i had chance to drop another one in Bubba had grabbed it and was gonna eat it but Freya grabbed hold of it while it was in his mouth. For a second it looked like the scene from Lady and the Tramp with the spaghetti, until "Lady" pulled the worm outta his mouth and ate it herself :laugh4:

Tonight while i was feeding them i thought i was gonna have a repeat of the "worm tail" as she was eyeing it up again...but instead of striking she licked it a few times. Bubba had other ideas though and slapped her in the face with it :laugh4:

One time I came home from the store with a bag of crickets and a tub of mealworms. I set the crickets down on top of my leo Sylvia's cage on the mesh screen while I went into the kitchen to put the mealworms in the fridge. When I came back in, Sylvia had definitely noticed the crickets up there. She had came out of her hide and was looking straight up at the bag. She then stood up as tall as she could, then ran over and climbed on top of her hide and stood up tall again. She wanted those crickets so bad! It made me laugh pretty hard.

the funniest thing? i actually had a very feisty gecko chase me across the room trying to bite my toes (i was bare footed) man i was scared at the time but i laugh when i think back about it.

Mine attacked one of my cats the other day, I had him out and the cat came running over to see what I was doing and he barked and jumped at her. The cat was so surprised, she jumped back and gave me the WTF look. :main_laugh:

my funniest moment would have been with Cerberus. I have a little dog that is obsesed with watching my lizards. So, during the summer, she was in my room watching cerberus all the time. Well, Cerberus would watch right back, and I swear if he could talk, he would have said 'what are you lookin' at?"

Here is Ghost, our Mack Snow Enigma male, he thought it would be fun to roll around in his calcium dish and make a mess. But that wasn't enough, after he did that he went and rolled around in his food dish until he got tired and fell asleep in it...:main_rolleyes:

Once my gecko jumped on my dog's face and since then my dog walks away when I handle her.......twice she jumped off a table and I cought her in mid-air.8)

The funniest thing I've ever seen one of my geckos do is climb the screen top of her cage. Then walk from one end to the other upside down before getting back down.

My cat was looking at my gecko one day and kept sloooowly sticking her paw out towards him like she wanted to...you know, "play" with the lizard on the carpet. I was like No...No...Nooooo each time and she would just pull back and meow at me like she didn't know why she couldn't "play" with him.




As for what my gecko does that's funny...I'd have to say my new giant named Faye is the weird one. She actually just hangs there forever on your hand with her back feet. She will go to walk off your hand, slide right up to her back feet...then just hang like she doesn't want to let go. She even looks around and just waves her front little arms sometimes before pulling herself back up.

once I was feeding daisy, (leo) trying to get her to eat cricket's I tried something suggested to me( pulling of the back legs) well as soon as I dropped it in, the cricket ran under daisy. I tried to get it out but it just kept running under her she gave me a look like how could you want me to eat something so cute and helpless it was weird.


ok now for the cresty. yoda escaped his tank. we found him after 3 day's of searching in a box of my brother's toy dinosaur's.we think he wanted a girl friend

Oh i just remembered one! I was at my friend's house before a concert with my other friend and him. We checked on his leo to feed to and we opened the top, turned around to get the food and we looked at the leo was gone. He has a hammock near the top that was swinging around and I felt something in my shirt.

Yeah, the gecko jumped at my shirt, missed, swung inside it, and crawled up the shirt to come out at the neck. It was adorable haha.

I have had a similar thing happen except my leos were eating mealies out the bowl and Disco was licking his lips and Sherbet thought it was a mealie and decided to bite his tongue!:main_lipsrsealed::main_yes: it was funny until Disco thought it would be safer to wait until Sherbet had finished to go back out and eat hahaha!:main_laugh:
