correct and it's attached to the iris and covered by the cornia. Behind that is a hollow area filled with vitreous fluid and the light travels through it and focuses on the retina ;)

You aren't going to explain the rods and cones!!? What about the optic nerve?
I was sitting back thinking I was in bio101 again. *sigh* whatta let down, that was a fun class.

p.s. cornea
:main_evilgrin:
mwa haha haa !

p.p.s. Yes, I am in a weird mood today. sorry!

p.p.p.s. In all seriousness, can you catch the pupil in low/normal light? I'm super curious what it looks like when dilated? does it look like it's more forward/normal when open? I looks like a "backwards" snake-eye, if you can call it that....(reverse snake eye?)

Janece, I will try to get an image tonight of the eyes in full eclipse mode :)

Paco, It's fairly aparent you get most of your genetic info from Matt and Alberto, which is a good source. So maybe you should ask them what you think before you basicly insult my intelligence? I assure you that I know a few things about genetics and you just told me not to breed an animal in so many words, that I am breeding.

Every morph is a genetic defect... Albinos are defects, blizzards are defects, patternless are defects, all the combo morphs are combinations of defects... People need to get off their high horse and not tell people what to do with their new genetic defect...

This means you Paco... So stop asking for pics of other animals that I am sure paul has posted already and stop trting to cause a genetic arguement with someone who can have you lost in a genetic convo in 3 scentences...

Paul is one of the more genetic savy people in the hobby by far... I am fairly certain he would not reproduce a genetic defect that would negatively affect the anaimals quality of life...

I for one think that eye defect looks pretty trick... I cant wait to see more strabismus morph geckos... LOL

Oh please... Chill out guys... Paco has a right to his opinion like everyone else does. I don't think he was being disrespectful in the least or insulting anyone's intelligence. In fact the posts directed at Paco were way more disrespectful than what he posted about the gecko.

I do not believe I was disrespectful, but did over react .

Sorry Paco if it was taken as disrespectful. In rereading my reply, I see I said "you think" when I was trying to say "they think". I do indeed respect matt and alberto's genetic input, as most should.

best I can do in a dark room . 10 tries and can't achieve proper focus :)

These are just starting to constrict and that's a catchlight in the eye and nothing more.

JMO: I say they are your geckos, breed them if you want, Paul, you know more about genetics than I do, I'll at least say that, lol. All I'm saying is, these animals belong to you, so If you wanna breed them, do so, if you dont want to, dont. Bottom line is, they are your animals, you can breed them if you want, its not like you need permission from people do anything with your own animals.

And I am not meaning this is any way rude to anyone who said not to breed this leo, sorry if it offended, but its true.

Thanks Nancy, but lets just get back to enjoying geckos. Arguing is over rated.

Gregg did hit the nail on the head though... Paul knows his genetics and will not release a single offspring first gen.

Exactly.

I'd breed the heck out of it, by the way.
