I get mine from Pet-Co. Since I'm only feeding one leo at the moment I don't think buying in bulk online is worth it xD and its not too bad $2.79 for 35 and only two were dead when I got them home.
I don't think anyone here is from TN, but I get my worms from Nashville Pet Products. They charge 1.99 for 50 mealies. Its a way better price than what the two chain stores charge.
I'm on the hunt for a good feeder supplier right now, as the one I used last time is apparently out of everything, and the local pet store charges too much.
I checked out Sunshine Mealworms, but I don't like entering my billing info without knowing how much the shipping will be.
I usually get my mealworms from the animal expo near me where I get 100 for $2.
Put when I run out I usually get them from pet smart because the ***** near me always have dead crickets, mealworms, superworms, and waxworms.
I chose to give grubco a try. I am very happy with them. I didnt like that it doesnt give a shipping quote right away, but shipping ended up only being $11 meaning I only paid $31 for 5,000 mealworms. I plan on using grubco for my next order also
I breed my own, but when I need a colony boost(usually during hatchling season) I get them from GrubCo. It's about 30 bucks shipped for 5000, and I've never had any DOAs.
I just ordered my first by mail from New York worms. $28.50 for 2000 is better than $5.00 for 100 that I've been paying at the store down the road. I tried Grubco first, but there was something annoying about the process. I think it may have been the mysterious shipping or something like that. Newyork includes it in the price. With the good chatter here, maybe I'll try grubco next time, assuming they'll be a next time... since I probably have my first batch of eggs cooking right now.
