is not right to be judged or voted if is right or not. You can have your opinion about it, yes. You can have chats about it, Yes.

If it's OK to have an opinion about it, and chat about it, why isn't it right to put the question out on a public poll to see how everyone feels about it? Not one of the poll questions asked anyone if it's right or wrong... it is just asking what people's opinions are. If you take a look at the votes, you will see what the majority of people think. As a breeder, I happen to care about what people think about these things.

the patternless part of the RAPTOR is a "Patternless stripe"
"patternless stripe" = stripe X reverse stripe

it is not and has no relation to the murphy's patternless

they are two different things you guys are useing the word patternless like it can only be one thing. its like saying its an albino. ok what kind of albino ? bell, tremper, rainwater?

if you guys can say there is 3 different albinos, 4 different types of snows (mack, line bred, tug, and gem) why is it so hard to think there are 2 different patternless?

It's no longer a problem now that we have to refer to the original patternless as a Murphy Patternless.

I think the poll was very interesting. As usual, a group of representative humans seem to be almost universally dissatisfied with the status quo. Also, as expected, they seem about equally divided (in about a half dozen different directions) as to how things SHOULD be set up!:main_laugh:

we have to be willing to look at all sides of this.

like now we have like 2 maybe 3 different genetics in one gecko soon it will be like 5,6,7,................ and then all we will have is a white gecko with red eyes hahahah jk

Maybe "worse" is the wrong term. It will definitely get more complex, and the learning curve for newbies will get steeper. But what's wrong with learning?

Leopard geckos are about halfway along the path that the snake hobby traversed in the last two decades of the 20th century. My opinion is that there is no way to prevent that trend from continuing, given the lack of any central authoritative body to impose order. And would you really want that? What if the "order" imposed was one you didn't agree with?

I don't think that is such a disaster-snake hobbysists are having a great time, and both the hobby and commercial side of snakekeeping is healthy and growing. And there's plenty of room for individuals to "go their own way"...

I personally would LOVE to see as many geckos available at Daytona as ball pythons! And I'm mainly a snake guy!

well alittle at a time. it will get there. we do have a great core of people driving this thing. even though we might not always see eye to eye. but that is how you grow is by seeing things in hundreds of different ways.

This year will be the best year for leopard geckos ever so far. and it will only get better:main_thumbsup:
