I have one in a 29 gallon tank in my son's room. He loves it! :main_yes:

Tanks, I'm not a breeder.... plus I think my mother would kill me if I have tubs like that.. I love to watch them also.. . :D But on the other hand tanks are expensive! And I'm sorta running out of room. Idk.. tanks it will be for me for all my adults, if I do get babies, I might do tubs but that is not in the near future.

I use tanks right now, but I am really contemplating a rack. Nearly every inch of table/dresser/desk in my room is covered in tanks and well, Sunny's cage.

I need a rack, just to reclaim some space. lol

i have both.. but i prefer tanks, unfortuantely they take up too much space... so I've had to use a bin for a few of my males!!

i use both. tanks are cool but they take up a ton of space. the bins i use are completely clear and the leos are easyly seen.

I had both and recently decided to just get rid of my tubs. I think they sucked because I couldn't just see inside to check on my animals as I walked by the room, there was very little I could to make it interesting for my geckos, and bleh. I personally can't stand them. I have chosen each of my geckos because I found it particularly beautiful, so I want to be able to see them walk and climbing their decor. Besides, I'm not at a number of geckos where I can't affort to keep them all in tanks, especially since I keep my females in groups.

But I can understand that the people who suddenly have 20, 40, 80, 100+ geckos would need something more space efficient to keep them in.

I've got my Leos in rack. I had tanks, but they're always in the hides during the day, so i never much saw them anyway. The tubs I have them in are actually bigger than the floor space of the tanks i had, so I think they probably like it more anyway.

as for my cresteds, I've dropped a LOT Of money on custom glass tanks for them over the years, so I'm not parting with them any time soon. Tubs aren't that great for cresties (IMO) so I'll stick with the tanks :)

i voted tank but i swiched to tubs just because its cheaper really and i plan on collecting a wide veriety of geckos and other reptiles so for anything that can live in a tub im using tubs ill only use tanks if thats the best living environment. right now i only have a 10 gallon tub that i use for a juvi crestie but hes moving to a tub when hes an adult i plan on using it whenevre i get a new gecko and if its not taken up by another animal then i use it till they are big enough for a bigger tub.
