My gecko mommies got supersworms smoothered in calcium for mother's day.

My husband & kids took me out to Olive Garden. I had Grilled Shrimp in a garlic-butter sauce over pasta & brought home a tiramisu for later. Yum! (and no dishes for me to clean!!)

Well, we had a very special guest for dinner... Julie from Gecko Ranch! So we had grilled, marinated tri-tip, garlic parmesan roasted red potatoes, steamed asparagus, green salad, and french bread. Mmmmmm!!!

Indeed, all this talk about Marcia's great cookin' and off I went!!!! It was as good as it looks!!! Afterwards we had great conversations and also flashlight stalked her oh-so-fine gecko collection at night!

Ahh, I'm so full I can barely type. A girlfriend and I made all homemade Sopas (sp?). It's fried corn patties, like a gordita, with ground beef, potatoes, avocado, tomatillo salsa, and goat cheese crumbled on top. Plus a little Mexican rice to go on the side. There's nothing like making it all from scratch! Oh, and a bottle of wine of course.

We had good, old-fashioned Yankee pot roast with red potatoes and carrots cooked in the crock-pot all day. Hmmmm....
